"I know it says “same formula” but the ingredient list has been changed. The textures are different and the new formula is not as hydrating and requires frequent reapplication. I’m actually so heart broken because the old formula is my holy grail. I hope they’ll go back to the old formula but I doubt it. Everyone is changing formulas and jacking up prices."
"3 stars because I've loved hustle butter for years and years- great smell, great feel, lasted a long time and quickly became my skins favorite product, tattooed or not. it was my Holy Grail general skincare. the 3 tubs I got most recently are solid white instead of the frosted white and they have a different ingredients list. while it still smells amazing, it melts so much thinner, it doesn't moisturize or last long at all. I used to be able to get through a full day shift at work or a full overnight. now it barely lasts from application at home to arriving at work (20 minutes). this obviously sucks, this means it didn't last me throughout each of the first 2 nights after a few large blackout tattoo areas. had to painfully hop in the shower with my shirt on to get it unstuck. this never happened with the old frosted tubs (also large blackout areas)."
"This is absolutely the best product I've found for tattoo care. It also makes a darn good moisturizer. It's expensive, but a tiny little bit goes a long way. It definitely takes a while to absorb, but to me, that's a trade-off. If you want good, long-lasting moisture, you want it to really get in there. Some call it greasy, but to me, it's more like a thin oil that smears on. That's probably a terrible description."
